Osman Şahbaz, part of an industrialist and merchant family residing in Istanbul, Kayseri and Budapest, has been carrying out commercial activities in Hungary for 25 years.

Şahbaz is the founding chairman of the Turkish-Hungarian Businessmen Association (TUMISAD), the umbrella organization of the Turkish Business World in Hungary, and also serves as a member of the DEİK-World Turkish Business Council Board of Directors and the Vice-Chairman of the European Regional Committee. Şahbaz, who is the Vice President of the Association of Architects and Engineers Group (MMG), which has more than 3000 architects and engineers, is a graduate of Yıldız Technical University. Şahbaz, a Mechanical Engineer and Member of the Board of Trustees of Yıldız University Foundation, was thanked by the President of Hungary, Dr. Ader Janos was awarded the ‘State Distinguished Service Medal’.

With the decision of the Hungarian Kaposvár University Scientific General Assembly Members and Senate, Osman Şahbaz, the Hungarian Honorary Consul in Kayseri, was awarded the title of academic “Honorary Associate Professor” in the field of International Political Science.

Osman ŞAHBAZ has been consulting to Solution Türkiye as a Member of the Advisory Board since 2022.
