Mr Biju Chandran is a Civil Engineering Graduate, having 25 years of experience in various aspect of the Construction industry. Having spent around 22 years in the Middle East, he has carved himself an essential niche among the industrial fraternity. A technocrat, Mr Biju has accumulated experience working with construction giants like Carillion and Taylor Woodrow International. His expertise includes, but is not limited to, High rise buildings, mass housing, shopping malls, roads and bridges, Hotels, Industrial projects, marine projects. The accrued value of all the projects he has managed till date is approximately One Billion USD.

In a shorter span, Mr Biju was instrumental in developing his entrepreneurship instincts which resulted in shaping the future of Shaksy Engineering Services (https://www.shaksyengineering.com/). Shaksy engineering services came to the limelight during when Mr Biju Spearheaded the humble start of the Company and paddled to success as a prominent construction company in the Sultanate of Oman.

Another company, Mr Biju, with his vast experience, corporately managed, is SMC INFRA LLC. He was influential in setting up the Company in Oman. He holds the position of CEO in the Company. SMC INFRA LLC is an infrastructure company, which has a 70% stake by an Indian company called SMC INFRASTRUCTURE (PVT) LTD, which has been in the market for the last 35 years. Under Mr Biju’s patronage, SMC INFRA LLC was successful in bagging some of the prestigious projects in the Sultanate of Oman such as Construction of Mall of Muscat.

Further, SMC INFRA LLC has also expanded its operations to the African sub- continent, under Mr Biju’s guidance, bagging projects in Tanzania and Malawi. The resource strength of SMC INFRA LLC is around 3000 personnel. The company was established in 2011 and till date has bagged orders worth 400 Million USD.

Currently, he has partnered in the Sultanate of Oman to form ITC LLC (Innovative Technology and Contracting LLC) , mainly concentrating on Development, Construction and Trading. Recently ITC has acquired CEMEC Engineering LLC, an MEP company having their expertise in Oil and Gas Building works.

Mr Biju is instrumental in imparting his leadership skills, augmenting it with the vast network he has acquired during his stay in the Sultanate of Oman.
