Ali KARAASLAN graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Chemical Engineering in 1980 with outstanding success. He completed his university education with the Turkish Sugar Factories scholarship and worked as an intern in these factories for 5 months after graduation.
He started his professional career as a quality control engineer in Erzincan Sugar Factory in 1980. He worked at Turhal Sugar Factory between 1982-1984 and at Elbistan Sugar Factory with a beet processing capacity of 14000 tons/day between 1984-1988. Between 1988-1992, he worked in the assembly and operating units of Ereğli Sugar Factory with a beet processing capacity of 8000 tons/day.
Between 1992 and 2008, he worked in assembly, project and commissioning works during the process of increasing the beet processing capacity of Kayseri sugar factory from 3000 tons/day to 13000 tons/day, and during this period, he achieved 60% improvement in the efficiency and energy consumption of the factory.
Between 2008 and 2013, he worked first as the Synthetic Sack Factory Manager in Gaziantep, then as the manager responsible for improving the heat economy of the Syria Dier Ezzor Sugar Factory, and as the Factory Manager at the Aksaray Balküpü Sugar Factory.
Between 2013 and 2015, he worked as a manager in Amasya Sugar Factory with a capacity of 6000 tons/day, during which time he reduced the fuel consumption of the factory by 30%.
Between 2019-2022, it increased the sugar beet processing capacity of the Muş Sugar Factory from 3600 tons/day to 5500 tons/day, while reducing its fuel consumption by 25%.
Since 2022, Ali KARAASLAN has been providing consultancy services to factories around the world as the Founding Partner and Executive Board Member of Solution Turkey in order to “increase their daily capacity” and “reduce their energy consumption”.
